Sant Augusti is a fig found by Thierry in France (FdM). It's a highly productive variety that sets well in lower light conditions. It seems like a strong grower and the figs have the same complexity as Black Madeira. The fig contrary to the name (I thought it would ripen in August) appears to be a late ripener. That combined with similar poor performance that Black Madeira also has in humid weather means I must defer this variety to a very happy grower in a warm/dry climate.
