Emalyn's Purple is a seedling from California. Although it's common, I have a hunch the eating experience will jump leaps and bounds when pollinated.

Unpollinated, it's still a great-tasting fig, but my Mother tree still needs time to mature. A friend 5 miles away (in the Philadelphia area) has had very good things to say about Emalyn's Purple (planted in the soil), so there could be a lot to look forward to.
