2024 was my first real evaluation of Black Tuscan Dovill. It impressed me so much that I'm planting it in the soil here in the Philadelphia area. It's a high quality variety that's not too late. My hunch is that it'll ripen around September 1st along with the Adriatic varieties.

Black Tuscan Dovill doesn't crack, the eye is closed, and I don't foresee any splitting issues. It checks all of the minimal requirements in terms of taste, productivity, performance, etc... We'll see what it turns into in a couple of years after planting.
