Salavatski is a very hardy pomegranate variety. It's been tested here down to 2-5F multiple times with very limited dieback.

Friends in zone 6B have also had success.

Interestingly, the berry flavor is more intense than the store-bought variety, Wonderful. By quite a significant margin. I personally wouldn't classify the seeds as "hard," but this variety can struggle with anthracnose, a common issue for pomegranate growers in humid areas.

These trees are the same age and size as the one-gallon-sized fig trees I am offering. They're propagated and cared for in almost the exact same ways.
