Come meet me at the 2022 Staten Island Fig Fest

Every year this event has been a great opportunity to meet some of you guys. I've actually made some really good friends over the year solely because of this event. You also get the opportunity to make new similarly minded friends and potentially learn about fig trees by picking the brains of those that have been growing them for a long time. Believe it or not this fig fest doesn't always have fresh figs for people to try, so if you approach me and we have a discussion, I'll likely be bringing some decent fruits (assuming the weather cooperates) for you to try. Even if you don't want some really tasty figs, don't be afraid to say hello! Even a simple, "hey man, I appreciate what you do" would be lovely.
